I'm just giving some thought to starting a new flag football league in the city... frankly, I don't want to pay $200 a head to play, and I'm going to guess there are a lot of people like me, so let's see if we can get something going.
The league would follow most standard flag rules, 7 on 7, or 5 on 5 depending on what kind of response rate we get.
Guaranteed 12 games + playoffs (which would depend on the number of teams) of around 50 minutes run/stop time.
Looking at keeping detailed stats, volunteer/self officiating, and intermediate skill level/semi-competitive.

Final details on money will come when we know what shape the league will take and insurance/field permit details are taken care of, but it shouldn't be more than $50 a head.
