Toronto Roller Derby League is the largest Roller Derby league in the world. They are always welcoming new skaters regardless of skill level. Skaters must be 19 years of age to participate. New skaters are taught the fundamentals of skating from the beginning before they practice any contact. Skill levels range from never skated before to well seasoned. Quad skates are used (no inline skates). The season runs from mid May to September. Teams play against each other in private and public events. Public bouts are held at George Bell Arena (just south of St. Clair West - between Keele and Runnymede). Toronto Roller Derby League is skater owned and operated.
